Aged-Care Physiotherapist | Open to Limited Regestration

In this role you will join a friendly multi-disciplinary team who are very proud of the high quality of patient care they provide. You will be working as a Physiotherapist as part of a larger allied-health team. You will be working with the aged-care population of Bundaberg. The role provides a varied caseload. You will be working across the community in a mix of residential homes, aged-care facilities, retirement villages and community centres. The work will involve:
- Establishing patient's treatment goals and planning accordingly
- General MSK
- Falls prevention programs
- Neurological rehab
- Functional mobility and pain assessments
- Leading group therapy sessions.
In order to be considered for the role you will be an APHRA registered Physiotherapist or a limited registered Physiotherapist needing just telephone supervision. Aged-care experience is not essential but you must have a keen interest in improving the lives of patients and an overall caring disposition.
